I was reconning, and this is part of the report
Movement phase: Inferior
Rank + 59, Quality + 1, Crew + 1, Tek - 2, Proficiency + 58, Rolls 15 vs 1
You draw 131 cards.
I'm guessing the inferior is due to a field overflow somewhere. It happens when the difference is at least 100. At least it gave the correct number of cards.
